Let's explore the art of the possible together at HiMSS19!

As trusted interoperability advisors in the standards community, we're taking some of our experts on the road to share our work and initiatives that focus on furthering patient-centered, coordinated care planning and management. While our subject-matter experts and BZ team volunteers will be onsite throughout the conference, you'll also find us in the HiMSS Learning Lounge -- where we're a proud sponsor.

WHAT: HiMSS19 Learning Lounge

WHERE: Orange County Convention Center, West Building; Valencia Ballroom, Level 4; Meeting Pod 2

WHEN: Tuesday, February 12 starting at 3:00 p.m. through Thursday, February 14 at 5:00 p.m.

Highlighted Subject-Matter Experts Onsite at HiMSS19

In addition to the attendance of President Brian Book, Business Development Director Gayle Grasso, and other members of Team BZ, we are proud to share that the following experts will be onsite.

  • Dave Carlson MBA, Ph.D., a standards-based solutions architect with BookZurman and founder of Clinical Cloud Solutions, will be leading a consumer-centered care planning use case at the HiMSS 2019 Interoperability Showcase as a subject-matter expert to Veterans Health Administration (VHA) through BookZurman.
  • Keith Salzman, MD, MPH, will be representing us through his perspective as a clinical informaticist with BookZurman.
  • Ioana Singureanu, FHL7, MS, CS, a senior standards architect with BookZurman, designed CareNexusTM and will be available to showcase the platform's care coordination and planning benefits in our Learning Lounge Meeting Pod 2.

Featured Pilot Opportunity: CareNexusTM

We'll be highlighting CareNexus at HiMSS -- a care coordination and planning platform designed by BookZurman specialists -- to showcase how we apply our team’s standards expertise to application and implementation.

CareNexus improves care quality and data management by connecting community-based providers and patients, along with others, across a patient’s continuum of care. With a secure, cloud-hosted FHIR application infrastructure, CareNexus enables care team members from multiple organizations immediate access to patient information in one place.

As experts of the interpretation, implementation, and transformation of healthcare IT standards, we can build standards strategy and solutions such as CareNexus around EHR acquisitions and transitions. We can also help ensure you get what you need, or contracted, for better patient outcomes at less cost.
