BookZurman has been working to obtain International Standard for Organization (ISO) status, and we’re proud to announce we have achieved ISO/IEC 20000 certification!

As a healthcare standards and interoperability consulting firm, everything we do is connected to the power of standards. ISO certification showcases how seriously we take standards in all areas of our work.

We became ISO 20000 certified for Information Technology standards to further show our commitment to standards as a whole and choose to run our firm by these requirements. ISO 20000 certification for Information Technology and Service Management are requirements to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a service management system (SMS). This includes planning, design, transition, delivery, and improvement of services to meet the service requirements and deliver value.

The registration certificate verifies that BookZurman’s administration systems have been assessed and approved to the following management systems, standards, and guidelines of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018. The approved administration systems apply to information technology management system pertaining to processes relating to all aspects of our company including management and provision of IT services, including software and hardware support.

Internationally agreed upon by experts, these standards are formed in response to a need in the market, developed through a multi-stakeholder process, based on global expert opinion, and grounded on a consensus approach. The ISO Certification category ISO 20000 refers to the Information Technology standard that is applicable to all organizations who are involved in the management, including outsourcing of IT systems as well as organizations providing IT service management services to their clients. The focus of such organizations is on delivering and improving services to users; services encompassing IT and changes within processes that may require modifications and adaptations to IT systems involving hardware, software, communications, and support.

We are proud of this rigorous designation, and work to continue to provide the best services to our clients.
